Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) videos on YouTube create an experience in which everyday sounds triggers a tingling sensation on listeners. Inspired by these videos, I carried out several sound experiments and discovered that ASMR really affects my own state of mind. Cleaved by the sound of cracking cardboard and wrinkling paper, I felt I was floating. The tingling started in my head and continued to the rest of my body, leading up to a so-called brain orgasm.
ASMR has grown into a global phenomenon, with countless artists using their unique techniques to gently soothe the world.
For me, ASMR is a medium for storytelling. I frequently perform live ASMR sessions, immersing myself in improvisation to find serenity in any form it may take. I guide my audience through this journey, appreciating the harmonious interplay of sound and the elegant movement of everyday joys in every possible manifestation.
